polyvore 1

femme

Love the nude colours in this look. What I love the most is this YSL clutch though! I saw someone carrying a clutch similar to this one in an orange colour and have been wondering where that clutch could've been from for the longest time. I think this YSL one is even nicer though! I love this ring! I can imagine this ring with any outfit!

Love playing around on polyvore!

Catch the Taste, Live and Breath

First off, Happy Father's Day to every awesome father out there, and especially to my #1 Daddy! Not often are we a family to miss out on 1.excitement, 2.crowds, 3.good food 4.good cultural mix so we headed down to Little Italy for my Daddy's Day enjoyed wonderful mix of everything mentioned earlier, and more!.. But actually mostly just food. I could barely sit still in the car on the ride home because I was TOO full and ended up feeling sick at every turn the car took! EEEK!

Fish tacos, Italian Nachos(?!), Churros, Gelato......&more that were not photographed. YUM. Oh yeah, by-the-way, I do usually eat like a slob, food drops onto my clothes and hands. Totally gross. I know. Don`t judge me...ha. Noticed the lipstick on my taco? I heard that we lipstick wearers swallow on average approximately 6 lbs of that stuff in a lifetime.
A year ago, I made this cute little yellow dress for my little sister and she hated it! I wore it once last year and when I found it in my sister's closet the other day, I had to take it out for a walk (to the supermarket for milk..). Anyways, I took it out nonetheless. And no matter how cool I made it look, my sister still hated it! HA! A few weeks ago, I bought this orange-y ring and I think it`s so cute!

I want to walk on sunshine

(H&M top and side bag, Gap shirt, dress received as a gift)

One thing that I can never resist during the summertime (or any other season) is ice cream from an ice cream truck. I actually don't even know why I can't stop myself from running after an ice cream truck (I actually do, and did today). Maybe those cute tunes from the trucks have some sort of hypnotic effect on me..haha! My absolute favourite is a vanilla cone dipped in sprinkles...YUM! I was originally going to share it with my sister because we bought it right before dinnertime...but I ended up eating 2/3 of the entire thing and practically all the sprinkles! hahaha! Last week when I went into Kingston for my cousin's graduation, we had to stop for gas but we couldn't seem to find any gas stations and as we kept driving, we saw a sign that said "gas". I seriously couldn't believe that green tank was the gas station! Also last week, when I went to my sister's school's fun fair, we bought bags and bags of these popcorn! They were so good I that I decided to buy six bags! If you guessed that I got weird looks, I did.

On another note, my I20 from school has arrived meaning I'm one step closer to being ready to move down, south of the border! It's so exciting but at the same time so unbelievably surreal! Even when I talk about my plans with my family or friends, it still feels like there's a lot of time left until I go, but in reality, it's only a short two months away...I'm seriously going to miss everything that I have here but at the same time, there's still a lot of preparation that has to be done. My cousin and I will probably head over sometime in July to look for a place in advance before our move in August. That's only a month away until we potentially find the place that we will be living in for the next year or two! EEEK! Now on a lighter note, in preparation for school, it's essential that I have all my shots but it seems that my vaccine for measles has worn off. Today when I went to go get my shot, I actually tried to run away from my doctor, TWICE! I almost let my feet walk me out the door! Oh man, was I embarrassed! But seriously, getting a vaccination is a scary thing! I get laughed at, but I'm sure there are others who feel the same way!

lets take two steps instead of one

Two days ago, I went into Kingston with my cousin and her family to watch her convocation at Queens University. It was such a wonderful day to graduate, and at such a wonderful place too. The sun was shining so brightly, the weather was extremely great, and Kingston is so lovely.

Also, in an attempt to de-clutter the blog a bit, I've added an after-the-jump so click the "read more" at the end of the post to well, read more!
(Teenflo blazer, cousin's top and necklace, pants from Hong Kong, Miss Sixty flats, H&M side bag)
My cousin recommended this pizza place in Kingston for dinner and the food there was amazing! Especially this honeyed chicken pizza (can't remember exactly what was on it) and the salad!

Some other things that happened this week: going to my kid sister's school's fun fair, trying Menchies for the first time and like every other summer, I stayed over at my cousin's house for a few days. This time though, it was slightly different than usual because we were kind of preparing ourselves for when we will start to live together this upcoming Fall! We'll both be moving to the same city for school! We will also be studying the same course but at different schools! It's kind of funny though because we both know that at some point, we will become so annoyed with each other because our personalities are kind of similar but clash at the same time....hmm. Today, when we were driving around we had a short "therapy session" in the car and we told each other about any problems or pet peeves we found in the other person lol. I guess only time will tell what will happen!

In the meantime...
