Despite a raging hurricane...

…we do what we do.

My cousin and I have been talking about it forever. We haven't done one in so long. It used to be almost like tradition. So despite this impending hurricane, we quickly finished dinner, ended up lazing around a bit..and finally got around to doing what we have been talking about for ages. Dressing up and taking pictures! Every year, a handful of times, we spontaneously have mini-photoshoots. Just because we are cool like that. Anyways, because of the hurricane, all the stores were closed, and we stayed in, ate like crazy, and watched Project Runway. Sounds a lot like what we will be doing tomorrow…

rewind

finally an update

A couple of weeks ago (before the big move), I was frantically trying to meet up with a bunch of good friends before I had to leave. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures except for this one time I went with a few girls to eat dinner and wander around for some desserts. 

Sitting at the apartment alone (my cousin went to orientation, I'm too rebellious for those things :P (just kidding)) and looking at pictures taken in Toronto makes me feel slightly nostalgic. My family just left yesterday, and experiencing the "earthquake" (I didn't feel anything..but still had to evacuate the Apple store for what felt like an hour), I was extremely worried for my family because I knew it was felt around Toronto as well. Anyways, since it's Toronto, and practically the greatest city in the world (I'm biased), everything is fine. Anyways, plans for today: 

Go out and buy a laptop case

Go out in general and not be a loser who stays at home with nothing to do in a new and exciting city..

something old, something new

I made this top at least a year and a half ago intending for it to be a "dress"...It's been in my closet for a long time. Today, I threw it on just so I could get to the gym but while I was waiting for my little sister, I played around with it and made it into something a little different.

I don't know why, but sometimes I really like those blurry pictures.

To The #1 Dad

My dad likes to make the funniest faces when he knows it's for the camera. It was his birthday a week ago and I baked him an eggless coconut raspberry chocolate cake because he's allergic to eggs.

I would go on to list all the wonderful ways as to why he's the number #1 dad, but that would be bragging, and of course, that list would never end..hehe. But anyways, for the sake of his birthday, I'll name a few. He's always the joker that is serious at all the right times. He's always teaching me everything I need to know, and supporting me all the way, in all ways. Most importantly though, he loves: mom, sis and I so unbelievably unconditionally. That's why we love him back with every ounce of love, and no less. 

 Cheers to another wonderful year.

My family and I attended a wedding today at Dave and Busters. I never knew I would have so much fun playing the shooting games. Today, I wasn't even interested in winning any tickets to exchange for some goodies (an extremely rare thing for me).  Good thing my little sister won enough tickets for the both of us!
