laggg

The reason behind my inconsistant posting is me losing the usb cable which connects my camera to my computer...I JUST found it.. YAY!

In a blink of an eye, a significant amount of time passed since my last real post :(
Now that I'm sitting here, I can't really remember all the wonderful things that have happened these few weeks .. lol

Anyways, for the events that I have accounted for with pictures, here they are:

(DIY tank, Jacob cardigan, Mom's vintage belt)
Maybe two-three(?) weeks ago, I added sequins to a t-shirt-made-tank which I did as a little project for myself a while ago.. I originally had flowers that I made from excess fabric on the side. Later on, I felt that the flowers made the tank really droopy so I took them out to add the sequins.

Last weekend, my family and I woke up bright and early to go to the local Santa Clause parade since we missed the big one in Toronto. We actually ended up being really late but we still caught Santa riding through on his sleigh :)

(Zara coat, AE cardigan, Zara shirt, Jacob belt, Club Monoco straight legged jeans, Costa Blanca X boots)
Just some daily outfit kinda shots

Today, when my dad, sis, and I went to the mall, there was a cookie decoration station in the middle of the mall.. Obviously we made it into a contest. There was no definite winner.. but I knew I had that in the bag ;)

Also, the other day, my sister and I went to watch "Disney's a Christmas Carol". My sister kept telling me that it'd be scary but I kept telling her that it's a Disney movie intended for little kids.. boy was I wrong. lol! Indeed there were frightening scenes! But of course, it's a Christmas movie so it was definately great! It really brought up my Christmas spirits and now, I definately have the jittery feeling that tells me Christmas is getting closer and closer!
When Christmas is near, everyone seems so jolly and well.., Christmas-y!
I can't wait!

I guess thats it for today..

Carrie
P.S, for those who noticed, YES, I did cut my hair!

I've been meaning to..

It's been a while since I've posted but I've been meaning to dedicate a post to Daul Kim.

Such a loss..
to lose to yourself like that

RIP

**her last interview..

""...The majority of Daul's hour-long interview with MC Suh Eun Young will air in the second episode titled "Kim Daul's Unfinished Words." In the interview, Daul can been seen thanking Suh Eun Young her helping her become a top model in Korea. Daul also stated "Ever since I started modeling, I've been able to make friends." She also went onto say that she was very happy to be part of the fashion industry as the people were very welcoming of her off-the-wall personality.

"Living in Korea is somewhat difficult. But in Seoul, I can feel this energy that I can't feel anywhere else in the world. I think Seoul is even more chic than New York. I feel that Korea is a great country, I'm very proud of Korea."

In regards to her personal life, she said: "I've been working too hard. Right now, I have a tiny apartment in Paris with just a pretty rice cooker. I'm happy I can buy fresh fruits from the local grocer.""

Halloween

And so, Halloween has passed by just like.. that! lol

I made my little sister a bee costume! haha, it was one of a kind, so at school, no one would have the same costume for sure!

For myself this year, I was a Fairy Princess!
Here I am with my other two faerie friends!
(LEFT-RIGHT)Tinker Bell, Faerie Princess, Faerie

(wearing: crown and wings from Party Packagers, wand from friends on my 17th birthday, some tank, H&M cardigan, and tutu from my ballerina friend)

I watched Paranormal Activity with my friends on Halloween night. It was an OK movie, but not too great. But, keep in mind, I barely saw anything since I was hiding behind my coat the whole time! haha
The weekends are passing by too fast these days! And now that the clocks have been changed, the days seems shorter too!
Now that Halloween is over, I can't wait for the wonderful Christmas feeling!!!!

My cousin had to take pictures of strangers for her photography class so I accompanied her downtown. It was fun watching her take pictures of strangers. haha, I hope she gets this assignment again! Too bad her pictures didn't turn out too well.. Though, from what I heard, the one picture that turned out best was the one I took of her ! hehe..

She's taking a picture of a couple sitting at the bench..

Anyways, everything seems to be coming really soon now, the days are passing by quickly and school is getting more and more hectic. Already starting applying for uni!

But even though everything is coming so fast, I can't wait :)

Carrie

Throw your hands up!

Today, my little sister, my friend and I lined up at the mall to see Stereos!! At first, it wasn't that much of a deal, but when they actually showed up, we got their signatures and when I got a hug from ROBB! OMG!

My little sister got a hug from Miles. That's just as good! lols. Somewhat corny, but after Miles signed, we asked him to "Throw your hand's up"! LOLS

Anyways, afterwards, my friend and I went downtown to buy some stuff; I got a lot of cute stuff to make jewelry:

Cookies? Apple Picking? Thanksgiving weekend :) Cheers!

At my school on Friday, there was an event called Oktoberfest and a variety of clubs and councils from school set up booths for some fun and games. My fashion club also had a booth. My friend and I baked some sugar cookies to sell to raise money for our group.

Before we started baking:

(Wearing: dad's shirt, knitted vest, Club Monaco belt,Claire's headband, tights, and f21 high socks)
Pre-baking was where all the excitement was; we found out that we were actually missing quite some ingredients, but the most important and missing ingredient was the baking powder. We ended up asking her neighbours for baking powder...Good thing there was another baker living close by!

Anyways, here are the cookies we baked and decorated:

And here is our booth:

Today (Sunday Oct 10), my family and I went apple picking! :)
(wearing: Gap sweater, H&M hat, Sterling rainboots, Aritiza gloves)
My kid sis and I :)

Some thanksgiving fun.. though, there were so many people, and it was way too cold; but fun nonetheless :)
These days, it's getting so cold that it's hard to leave out winter acessories like mittens and hats!

I hope everyone else is enjoying their Thanks Giving weekend too!

iPod Mini: Working :)

So, after taking a four year haitus, my iPod mini is working again! I can't wait to start using it again! I've missed it and its pink-ness! lol!

Anyways, school as it should be, is stressful, but.. at the end of the day, that really shouldn't get in the way of everything else. After-all, you only live once, so why stress?
As usual, Monday's are boring and it's usually hard to get back into the routine of school after a weekend.

(Wearing: H&M hat, Club Monaco men's shirt, Spice Girls concert T-shirt, Hollister shorts, H&M leggings)

Over the weekend, my family and I celebrated the Moon Cake Festival with our relatives. Usually, I really don't care much for it, but this year, I didn't mind. It was nice to have all our relatives together and just joke around and have fun.

My cousins and I went to Nuit Blanche after dinner but too bad we didn't see much; but, the atmosphere was great and I loved it. The feeling of so much people around was so great! We did however, see one exhibit that was really just SO useless! It was a bunch of people with white sheets over their heads and they were called the "Ghost Choir" or something like that.

I don't even understand why people were crowding around!

Changing text in the middle of the two buildings:
Left: A girl from OCAD with her project. Right: Me watering her.
(Wearing: Zara Coat, Silene + Noise pants, DC shoes)
The Thing to notice though however, is the girl in the left picture lying on the floor to take a picture of the changing text. Shortly after this picture was taken, someone tripped over her.

Some Amazing graffiti art:

Left: Moving Lights. Right: Cousin and I with moving lights

This guy had an amazing helmet!

A few pics of my cousin taking a few shots. Can't wait to see her developed film! Check out her blog @ naturellaa.blogspot.com!

And lastly, a few pics of the Toronto nighttime.

I hope everyone had a good weekend too cause here comes another week!
